Nylopor™ membrane is a naturally hydrophilic membrane, engineered with a polyethylene support based on Lydall’s microporous Solupor^® membrane. Nylopor membrane’s hydrophilic characteristics provide uniform wet out and added strength during use in critical filtration applications. The membrane is comprised of nylon 4, 6 to provide increased chemical compatibility and heat resistance as compared to other hydrophilic nylon membranes. Designed with a tightly controlled microporous structure, Nylopor membrane delivers superior dimensional strength, higher flux, and ease in handling during cutting, pleating, and sealing in filtration device manufacturing. The membrane is available in roll widths up to 60cm as well as custom cut sheets and disks for the required application.
